뜨거운 물이 안 나와요.
tteugeoun muri an nawayo.
There’s no hot water.
Why this spelling
This romanisation is not the spelling copied letter by letter. It is built from the National Institute of Korean Language’s Revised Romanization, which writes what the word sounds like once the sounds next to each other have changed it.
When you would say it
Check that 온수 is on at the wall panel first. If it is, this is the sentence.
The bathroom is one wet room
**The bathroom is built to get wet all over.** There’s a drain in the middle of the floor, the shower head hangs on a hose on the wall, and often nothing separates it from the rest of the room. No curtain, no glass, no lip on the floor. You shower, and the room takes it.
