Why this spelling

This romanisation is not the spelling copied letter by letter. It is built from the National Institute of Korean Language’s Revised Romanization, which writes what the word sounds like once the sounds next to each other have changed it.

When you would say it

The stock too. — Two questions in one breath, because the second is the one that gets missed.

Vegetarian and halal, honestly

The structure that hides an allergen hides meat and fish too, which is why it sits here rather than in a chapter of its own. Stock is the first problem and fermented seafood is the second. Asking for a dish without meat often produces a dish with no visible meat, and those are not the same thing.
