한국어를 조금밖에 못 해요.
hangugeoreul jogeumbakke mot haeyo.
I only speak a little Korean.
Why this spelling
This romanisation is not the spelling copied letter by letter. It is built from the National Institute of Korean Language’s Revised Romanization, which writes what the word sounds like once the sounds next to each other have changed it.
When you would say it
Worth saying early on; it changes how people talk to you, usually for the better.
One polite register is all you need
Korean has several levels of speech, and learning the whole system is a real study project. As a visitor, you don’t need it. Stay in the -요 form for everything and you’ll be correct with every person you meet, in every setting, for the entire trip.

Card number 7 of the book
The guidebook prints these as numbered cards, so you can hold up a number instead of trying to pronounce it. The Korean edition comes with it and has the same numbers in the same places.
